Join us for morning coffee with specila guest, cinematographer Tony Gardiner, ACS.

 

Tony is an award winning  cinematographer  working across TV drama, documentary and commercials, with a long lineage in cinematography. Tony is the first and only third-generation ACS accredited  cinematographer  in Australia. 

 

Recently he completed shooting season 2 of “The PMs Daughter” for Fremantle and the ABC, collaborating with Emmy award winning Director Julie Kalceff.  Tony also shot the new Fremantle drama series “Heat” for channel 5 in the UK and channel 10 in Australia, starring Danny Dyer and directed by Kate Kendall  Tony throughly enjoys collaborating with Directors and actors to tell captivating  and visually engaging stories. Known for his flexibility to work in any environment from available light to complex studio setups Tony is an incredibly technical diverse  cinematographer  with a very unique skillset. Having also directed over 40 episodes of Australian TV drama he has an acute understanding of what directors need and want to tell each story with a unique and fresh approach.
