
INSIDER SESSIONS | Literary Adaptation, is powered by Made Up Stories, the award-winning production company behind Nine Perfect Strangers (Hulu| Prime Video), Strife (Binge), and Luckiest Girl Alive (Netflix). The series will provide a rare behind-the-scenes look at the art and business of adapting literary works for film and television.
Open to existing AiF members and global participants alike, this three-part online masterclass series is designed for emerging and established creatives interested in IP development. From sourcing and securing rights, to development strategy and case studies from major streamers and studios, the sessions offer rich insights, expert guidance, and actionable knowledge.

Moderated by Rebecca Windsor, AiF Industry Consultant and former Warner Bros. Television executive, each 60 minute Zoom Webinar will include a 15-minute live Q&A, followed by a 30-minute participant-only Zoom networking debrief session.

Bryce Menzies is a leading entertainment lawyer with more than two decades of experience in film production. His expertise covers the areas of film & television finance and law. He has worked as a lawyer on over 400 productions, including
Red Dog, Muriel’s Wedding, Kenny, Blessed, and
The Boys are Back. In addition to acting as legal advisor to many Australian films, his executive producer credits include
Malcolm, Death in Brunswick, Two Hands, Ten Canoes, Noise, and
The Loved Ones.

Casey Haver is SVP of TV & Film Development and Production at Made Up Stories. She Executive Produced Netflix’s hit series
Pieces of Her starring Toni Collette and Bella Heathcote; Spectrum Original’s basketball thriller
Long Slow Exhale created by Pam Veasey; Amazon Prime’s thriller
Tell Me Your Secrets, created by Harriet Warner; and the Facebook Watch’s Queen America, created by Meaghan Oppenheimer and starring Catherine Zeta Jones. Prior to Made Up Stories, Casey was at Reese Witherspoon and Bruna Papandrea’s joint venture Pacific Standard Films, where she oversaw development of numerous projects. Before that, Casey was at Bad Robot’s TV department where she worked on series such as
Fringe,
Person of Interest, Revolution, 11/22/63, Roadies, and Westworld. Casey is currently producing Karin Slaughter’s
The Good Daughter, an upcoming limited series for Peacock starring Rose Byrne, Meghann Fahy and Brendan Gleeson.

CLAUDIA PARK
Claudia Park is the Vice President of Film & TV at Made Up Stories. Starting as an assistant at ICM Partners, she then joined Scott Free Productions, working on films such as Wash Westmoreland’s
Earthquake Bird and Gabriela Cowperthwaite’s
Our Friend. Following that, she worked at Tom Brady’s production company Religion of Sports as their Director of Development in Film & TV before joining Made Up Stories, where she currently manages a development slate of film and television projects set up at Amazon, Universal, New Line, Fifth Season, and HBO. As a second generation Korean-American, Claudia understands the power that inclusive storytelling has on communities and is deeply focused on creating opportunities for global storytellers, ensuring that multicultural perspectives are not only included but centered. She focuses on shaping stories that resonate with global audiences and help drive cultural change.

JEANNE SNOW
Jeanne Snow is SVP of Film & Television at Made Up Stories, where she oversees a slate of over 20 films and TV shows for Universal, Netflix, Amazon, New Line, HBO, Peacock, and Fifth Season. Beginning her career at CAA's Motion Picture Literary Department, she then joined Universal Pictures in production and development of films such as Trainwreck and Neighbors. Jeanne was the first exec hire at Reese Witherspoon’s and Bruna Papandrea’s joint venture Pacific Standard Films, overseeing development of their film slate, including Noah Hawley’s Lucy in the Sky starring Natalie Portman. Most recently, Jeanne produced the independent Australian film Addition starring Teresa Palmer, Luckiest Girl Alive starring Mila Kunis, and executive produced Abe Forsythe’s zombie comedy Little Monsters starring Lupita Nyong’o and Josh Gad, as well as Rob Connolly’s thriller The Dry starring Eric Bana.

Jessica Knoll is the New York Times best-selling writer of
Luckiest Girl Alive and
Bright Young Women. She adapted and executive produced
Luckiest Girl Alive for the screen, starring Mila Kunis, released on Netflix in 2022. In 2021, she was named a Screenwriter to Watch by
Variety, and in 2019, her original script, ‘Til Death, sold to Amazon and made
The Black List. Her books have been published in over forty languages. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, daughter, and bulldog.

KATIE AMOS
Katie Amos is an AACTA Award-winning producer and Head of Australian Production at Made Up Stories. Having worked in various capacities within drama and documentary development and production, her previous credits include
Nine Perfect Strangers, Thor: Love and Thunder, Hacksaw Ridge, The Water Diviner, Redesign My Brain, Hotel Mumbai, Ghosthunter, Lambs of God, and
The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. Amos joined Made Up Stories as a creative and production executive before stepping up to producer/Head of Production for Australia. She produced AACTA Award-winning short film
Gorgo
and was an associate producer on the first season of
Strife
and upcoming feature
Addition. She is currently a co-executive producer on
The Last Anniversary, an executive producer on
Strife
Season 2 and is set to produce series adaptations of Emily Perkins’
Lioness
and Sally Hepworth’s
Darling Girls.

RANDIE ADLER
In January 2025, Randie Adler launched the Media Rights/IP capability within the Film & TV Division at Range Media Partners. She began her career in IP representation at The Gotham Group and spent three years in the Media Rights department at ICM, and transitioned to CAA following the 2022 acquisition before joining Range. Adler represents a distinguished roster of authors and journalists, including Angie Cruz, who was shortlisted for the
Women’s Prize and longlisted for the Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction; Kayla Rae Whitaker, whose debut novel was named
NPR's Best Book of the Year; Pat Murphy, winner of the
Philip K. Dick Award; Aaron Philip Clark, an
International Thriller Writers award nominee; and debut novelists De Elizabeth, Andrew Brininstool, and Emet North, among others. A graduate of Tulane University, she studied English Literature, Creative Writing, and Spanish.

TIMOTHY SCHMIDT
Timothy Schmidt is the head of business affairs for Made Up Stories, overseeing all business deals for the Studio. Prior to working at Made Up Stories, Tim served in senior business affairs and business development roles at WWE Studios, Madison Square Garden Entertainment, The Weinstein Company and Miramax Films. His entertainment experience covers scripted and unscripted television, feature films, documentaries, theater, live events, publishing and exhibitions.

REBECCA WINDSOR (Moderator)
Rebecca Windsor is a producer developing TV and Film projects and a consultant with Australians in Film, overseeing their Artist Development programs. She most recently was the Vice President and Head of the Warner Bros. Television Workshop, the premier writing and directing program for artists looking to launch their television careers. Rebecca also helped create Warner Bros.’ digital brand Stage13, overseeingSpecial (Netflix), which garnered four Emmy nominations, and Snatchers (Sundance Film Festival and SXSW). She also covered the shows
Riverdale, All Rise, and
Shining Vale as a Current Executive for WBTV. Previously, Rebecca worked at the Sundance Institute, coordinating the Screenwriters, Directors, Episodic, and Producing Labs. Earlier, she was Manager of Development at Samuel L. Jackson’s production company, UppiTV, and at Mandeville Films.
