Megan Worthy

Australian born Megan Worthy has worked in the entertainment industry since graduating from Charles Sturt University in 1988 with a BA Communications (Theatre/Media). 

Megan became involved with Australians in Film in 2001 when she relocated to Los Angeles permanently to be with her American feature finance husband, George Henfling.

To date, Megan’s career has spanned 20 years and been ensconced in the world of international feature film taking her to challenging destinations such as Jordan, Russia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Turkey and Malaysia as well as locations around Australia, America and the UK. Megan’s breadth of experience on movies such as THE MATRIX and MISSION IMPOSSIBLE II, have enabled her to flip between two roles, one in production (most recently as Production Supervisor on Spike Jonze’s WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE) and one as an assistant costume designer (most recently on ERAGON in Budapest). Megan is a member of the Costume Designer’s Guild and works primarily with Australian Costume Designer Kym Barrett.

With the birth of her daughter Bronte in 2004, Megan ventured into the world of children’s literature and has penned almost a dozen kids’ travel books and signed with a US book packager to have her series ‘bronte & frank’ published – www.bronteandfrank.com
