David Pratt

He has recently returned to Los Angeles after three years back in Australia where he most recently held the position of Commercial Enterprises Manager for the Sydney Symphony.   Prior to that he was the General Manager of the Australian Festival of Chamber Music in Townsville. He also worked on a short-term contract basis for the Sydney Opera House for the visit of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra
in 2006.

Prior to 2006 David developed and managed marketing and PR strategies in various roles across the film and entertainment sector in LA. He organised the 2005 Australian Film and Style Festival for Australia Week and from 2001 until 2005 was President of Australians In Film, which, he co-founded in 2001.From 1997 to 2004 David was the Australian Film Commissioner for Ausfilm in LA promoting Australia’s film and TV production sector across the US
entertainment industry.

Prior to moving to the US in 1997 David held senior marketing communications and PR positions with the Melbourne Film Office (MFO) for the State of Victoria, Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, Victorian Department of Sport and Recreation and a number of consultancy firms. In his role at the MFO he assisted a broad selection of companies through developing and leading marketing and PR campaigns in North East Asia, USA and the UK.

David has a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Certificate in Public Relations.
