Kidnapping Mr. Heineken

Check out the new trailer for Daniel Alfredson's true crime-drama Kidnapping Mr. Heineken (AKA Kidnapping Freddy Heineken), which opens in theatres and on VOD March 6.

The film stars Aussies Sam Worthington and Ryan Kwanten and Brit Jim Sturgess opposite Sir. Anthony Hopkins, Aussie newcomer Tom Cocquerel and Dutch actor Mark van Eeuwen.

Based on Peter R. de Vries 1987 book, the story follows the real life kidnapping of Alfred "Freddy" Heineken (Hopkins), the grandson of Gerard Heineken, founder of the Heineken Brewery. Freddy and his driver Ab Doderer were kidnapped in 1983 and held for ransom.

Worthington, Kwanten and Cocquerel play notorious Dutch criminals and kidnappers Willem Holleeder, Jan 'Cat' Boellaard and Martin 'Brakes' Erkamps.

Congrats Sam, Ryan and Tom!
