Xavier Samuel

Australian actor Xavier Samuel is set to play Frankenstein's monster in Bernard Rose's reimagining of Mary Shelly's popular and classic story.

Set in present-day LA, the story centers on husband and wife scientists, Victor (Danny Huston) and Elizabeth (Carrie-Anne Moss) Frankenstein, and their creation - a monster named Adam.

Rose is directing from a script that he penned.

The Victoria-born actor can next be seen opposite Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf in David Ayer's WWII action drama Fury, out in US Theatres 17 October and Oz Theaters 23 October.

Congrats, Xavier!
