Filming has begun in New York on The Family Fang, which stars Nicole Kidman, Jason Bateman and Christopher Walken.
Based on the best selling novel by Kevin Wilson, The Family Fang tells the story Buster (Bateman) and Annie (Kidman) Fang, siblings who return to the home of their kooky performance artist parents, to find they have disappeared. Walken is cast to play Caleb, their father.
Pulitizer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, who worked with Kidman on the Oscar-nominated film Rabbit Hole, has adapt the novel, and Bateman is also directing.
Kidman's production company, Blossom Films, bought the film rights to the novel in 2011.
Kidman is also set to star alongside Jude Law and fellow Oscar winner Colin Firth in Michael Grandage's drama, Genius.
Based on 'Max Perkins: Editor of Genius,' A. Scott Berg's biography of literary icon Thomas Wolfe, the film follows the story of Wolfe (Law) and his relationship with his editor Max Perkins (Firth), and his affair with costume designer Aline Berstein, a woman 20 years his senior.
Filming is scheduled to take place in October in the UK and USA.
