Aussie actor Jesse Spencer was honored Thursday at the 2014 Chicago International Film Festival Television Awards in Illinois.
alumnus, who got his big US break on popular Fox medical series House, was honored with the Artistic Achievement Award for his success on American Television.
Spencer currently stars in hit NBC series Chicago Fire, which has been picked up by the network for a third season. The drama, which stars Spencer and fellow Aussie Daisy Betts as heroic Windy City firefighters, ranks #1 in the Tuesday 10 p.m. ET/PT slot.
Australians in Film awarded Spencer with the Breakthrough Award in 2006.
