Ed Oxenbould has joined the cast of M. Night Shyamalan's new psychological thriller Sundowning
The rising young star joins Kathryn Hahn (Bad Words) on set, who is cast to play his mother - a single woman who sends her two children to stay with their grandparents, but things start to go very, very wrong.
Little else is known about the plot, as the filmmaker is keeping tightlipped.
Filming is currently underway in the director's home state of Pennsylvania.
Shyamalan is wearing different hats on this project, including co-producer, director and writer.
Oxenbould can next be seen in Robert Connolly's drama Paper Planes opposite David Wenham, Sam Worthington and 2013 HLS runner up Alex Williams and playing the title role in family comedy Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner.
Based on Judith Viorst’s award-winning children’s book of the same name, the film is helmed by Miguel Arteta, and is set for an October 2014 release.
Late in 2013, Oxenbould signed to exclusive talent agency ICM Partners.
Looking forward to following this rising young talent! Congrats, Ed!
