AiF member Damon Herriman has signed on to CBS drama series Battle Creek

Herriman landed a recurring role playing Detective Niblet, an officer of Battle Creek Police Department.

The police drama follows the story of two law men, Detective Russ Agnew and FBI Agent Milton, who have different views on the world, but team up to solve crimes in Michigan's Battle Creek.

Dean Winters (Law & Order: SVU, Oz, 30 Rock) is cast as Agnew, no word yet on who will play the other lead.

The series is created by Vince Gilligan, the mastermind behind AMC's Breaking Bad

Gilligan has joined forces with House creator David shore to bring the 13-part series to air on CBS later in 2014.

Herriman's first day on set will be March 17!

Born in Adelaide, the now LA-based actor is best known in the US for playing Dewey Crowe on FX series Justified.

AiF members can next see Damo playing band manager Chris Murphey in INXS: Never Tear Us Apart. Details to come HERE.

Congrats, Damo!
