Aussie Sarah Snook is cast in US network ABC drama pilot Clementine
Created by Mark Gordon (Grey's Anatomy), Snook is cast to play the title role and David Strathairn will play her father.
The show tells the story of a 28-year-old psychic who sees her life begin to change in unexpected ways when she decides to stop running from her past.
One of Australia's most in-demand actors, Snook has two projects currently in the can - Kevin Greutert's thriller Jessabelle and the Spierig brothers' sci-fi Predestination opposite Ethan Hawke and Noah Taylor.
Jessabelle was previously scheduled to be in theatres on January 10, but Lionsgate has delayed the release to August 29, 2014.
Snook is known for her role on Australian TV series Spirited and film Not Suitable for Children opposite Ryan Kwanten.
The rising Australian star was awarded the AACTA Award for Best Lead Actress in a Television Drama for her role in ABC1's biopic Sisters of War.
