The 3rd AACTA Awards Luncheon presented by Deluxe was held last night at Sydney's The Star Event Centre, where the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) announced the first group of the 3rd AACTA Awards winners.

The Great Gatsby cleaned up at the event! The film took the top prize in all seven feature film categories it was nominated in, which are Cinematography, Editing, Sound, Music, Production Design, Costume Design and Visual Effects.

In TV, the ABC also came out on top - with Nowhere Boys winning the Kids TV category, Redfern Now taking home the gong for Original Music Score, Peleda winning Best Production Design and Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries won for Costume. The ABC also scored big in the doco category, winning four out of a possible five gongs.
