Aussies Yvonne Strahovski and Judy Davis have joined the cast of 24: Live Another Day
Strahovski and Davis join 24's lead hero Kiefer Sutherland, who is reprising his role of ex CTU operative Jack Bauer.
24: Live Another Day is Fox's 12-episode reboot of their popular action drama, which will also see the return of original cast members Kim Raver, William Devane and Mary Lynn Rajskub.
Set in London, Strahovski will play Kate Morgan, a “brilliant but impulsive CIA field operative in London” tasked with hunting down Bauer, and Davis will play the widow of a terrorist.
Fox will kick off the series with a two-hour long episode on May 5 at 8PM, and will continue with hour-long episodes in the subsequent weeks.
24 originally ran for eight seasons between 2001 and 2010.
Strahovski, who is Australians in Film's 2012 Breakthrough Award Recipient, will soon be seen in the highly anticipated Australian-American co-production "I, Frankenstein." Directed by fellow Australian Stuart Beattie, I, Franenstein will be in theatres January 24.
As we reported in August last year, Davis has signed on to play Kate Winslet's mother in "The Dressmaker". Filming will take place this year in Victoria.
