Monday, October 21, 2013 11:26 AM | Anonymous

Following Charlie Hunnam's exit from "Fifty Shades of Grey," rumors continue to fly over who will play Christian Grey, in the film adaptation of E.L. James' successful erotic fiction.

Aussie actor Luke Bracey has been named a top contender for the role, alongside  Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood), Matt Bomer (White Collar) and Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries,) to name a few.

Bracey is best known for playing Trey Palmer in Aussie soapie, "Home and Away".

Hunnam, who currently stars on the FX TV show Sons of Anarchy, withdrew from the project citing scheduling conflicts.

Actress Dakota Johnson remains attached to play the female lead Anastasia Steel.

Good luck, Luke!
