Aussie cinematographer Adam Arkapaw wins Emmy

Congratulations to cinematographer Adam Arkapaw, who took home an Emmy at Sunday's Creative Arts Emmy award ceremony.

Arkapaw took home the gong for Outstanding Cinematography for a Miniseries or Movie for his work on "Top of the Lake". He beat out Michael Goi (American Horror Story: Asylum), Peter Andrews (Behind the Candelabra), Mike Eley (Parade's End) and John Pardue (The Girl) for the prize.

Created by Jane Campion & Gerard Lee, and starring Elizabeth Moss, Thomas M. Wright, Peter Mullan & David Wenham, Top of the Lake is also contending for five Emmy Awards in next weekend's Primetime Emmy Awards.
