First clip from Mia Wasikowska's "Tracks"

Tuesday, August 27, 2013 10:01 AM | Anonymous

Here's the first clip from "Tracks", which is set to screen at the  Venice Film Festival tomorrow.

"Tracks" tells the inspirational true story of Robyn Davidson (Wasikowska), a woman who, in 1977, set out on a 2,700 walk from Alice Springs, across the harsh desert, to the Indian Ocean on a journey of self-discovery.

Accompanied only by her dog and four camels, Davidson is met by National Geographic photographer Rick Smolan (Adam Driver from Girls) at various stops along the way.

Directed by John Curran and produced by Emile Sherman and Iain Canning, and co-produced by Antonia Barnard and Julie Ryan, Tracks will screen tomorrow (29 August) at the Venice Film Festival, before heading to Toronto International Film Festival in September and opening the Adelaide Film Festival in October.
