This is Debicki's first major film since her breakout role in Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby". According to Variety, the rising star beat out Charliz Theron and fellow Aussie Rose Byrne for the role.

Debicki is currently appearing opposite Cate Blanchett on stage at the Sydney Theatre Company's sold out production of "The Maids".
