Coming off five successful seasons of "Fringe", Aussie Anna Torv has joined the cast of HBO's drama pilot "Open".
Co-written by Nip/Tuck, Glee and American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy and Dexter writer Lauren Gussis, Open promises to be a modern, provocative exploration of human sexuality and relationships.
Torv joins The Hunger Games' Wes Bentley, Scott Speedman (Underworld) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (Revenge) on the cast.
The Aussie is set to play a yoga instructor in a long-term relationship with Holly (Jennifer Jason Leigh), but upon meeting Grace feels an instant connection.
Torv was Australians in Film's 2009 Breakthrough award recipient. David Gillespie and Sam Worthington also received a Breakthrough Award in 2009.
